Description

A fresh and healthy Apple and Red Grape Salad made with toasted pecans, honey, and cinnamon.

Ingredients

Scale

3 medium apples, diced

2 cups red grapes, halved

1 cup pecans or walnuts, toasted and chopped

3 tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

1. Toast the pecans or walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently, until fragrant and lightly browned. Remove from heat, cool, and chop.

2. Wash and dice the apples into bite-sized chunks. Halve the grapes. Toss fruit with lemon juice.

3. Whisk honey, cinnamon, and sea salt in a small bowl.

4. Pour dressing over fruit and add chopped nuts. Gently toss to coat evenly.

5. Serve immediately or refrigerate up to 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Keep nuts separate until serving for maximum crunch.

Use firm apple varieties for best texture.

Warm honey slightly if too thick.
