Baked BBQ Chicken Breasts

Description

Juicy baked BBQ chicken breasts made with smoky spices and rich BBQ sauce. A high protein, fast and easy dinner perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

Scale

4 large chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs total)

2 tablespoons avocado oil

1 1/2 tablespoons smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper

1 cup BBQ sauce


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a casserole dish with oil.

2. Place chicken in a large bag. Add oil and spices. Shake until evenly coated.

3. Transfer chicken to prepared dish. Brush with half of BBQ sauce.

4. Bake 20 minutes. Flip and brush with remaining BBQ sauce.

5. Continue baking until internal temperature reaches 165°F (about 40–50 minutes total).

6. Remove, rest briefly, slice, and serve with extra BBQ sauce.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.

Let chicken rest before slicing.

Store leftovers in airtight container up to 4 days.
