Description
Crispy baked chicken bites coated in a sweet honey barbecue glaze. Perfect for parties, dinners, or quick snacks.
Ingredients
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
3. Coat chicken pieces and dip into egg mixture.
4. Press into panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
5. Place on baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
6. Bake for 18–20 minutes, turning halfway through.
7. In a saucepan combine barbecue sauce, honey, and ketchup. Heat for 5 minutes.
8. Toss baked chicken in warm honey BBQ sauce.
9. Serve hot with ranch dressing, celery sticks, fries, or salad.
Notes
Do not overcrowd the baking sheet.
Toss in sauce just before serving for maximum crispiness.
