Description

Beef and Pepper Rice Bowls is a quick, flavorful dinner made with ground beef, fresh peppers, and simple seasonings served over rice.

Ingredients

Scale

2 tablespoons butter

1 medium onion, diced

1 green bell pepper, diced

1 red bell pepper, diced

1 jalapeno, diced

1 pound ground beef

1/2 cup soy sauce (low sodium optional)

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoon black pepper

Cooked rice (optional for serving)

Instructions

1. Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat.

2. Add diced onion, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and jalapeno. Cook for 5 minutes.

3. Add ground beef and cook until fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.

4. Drain excess grease and return mixture to the pan.

5. Add soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

6. Cook for another minute until flavors combine.

7. Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

Use low sodium soy sauce to reduce salt.

Adjust spice by adding more or less jalapeno.

You can substitute ground turkey for a lighter version.

Serve immediately for best flavor.
