This berry croissant bake is a creamy, fruit-filled breakfast casserole made with buttery croissants, fresh berries, and a rich vanilla custard.
Ingredients
4 large croissants, broken into small pieces
1 cup sliced strawberries
½ cup blueberries
½ cup raspberries
1 block (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2/3 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup milk
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
2. Spread croissant pieces evenly in the dish.
3. Top with berries evenly.
4. Beat cream cheese until fluffy; add sugar, milk, eggs, and vanilla.
5. Pour mixture over croissants and berries.
6. Refrigerate 15 minutes to 14 hours.
7. Bake uncovered 35–40 minutes until golden and set.
8. Serve warm with powdered sugar or syrup.
Notes
Use day-old croissants for best texture.
Add cinnamon or lemon zest for extra flavor.
