Ingredients

Scale

1 baguette, sliced

2 tbsp olive oil

6 oz brie cheese

2 crisp apples, thinly sliced

3 tbsp fig jam

Pinch of salt

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. Slice baguette into ½-inch pieces and brush with olive oil.

3. Toast for 5 minutes until golden.

4. Soak apple slices in mild salt water for 10 minutes, then rinse.

5. Spread fig jam on each crostini.

6. Top with brie slice and apple piece.

7. Serve immediately.

Notes

To prevent apples from browning, soak in salt water instead of lemon juice. You can toast bread ahead and assemble before serving.
