Sticky, sweet, and savory Brown Sugar Pineapple Wings with a tropical glaze that’s perfect for parties or quick dinners.
Ingredients
2 lbs chicken wings (tips removed; drumettes & flats)
½ cup packed brown sugar
1 cup pineapple juice (not concentrate)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp ginger (powder or fresh)
½ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp cornstarch (optional; for glossy glaze)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment.
3. Pat wings dry; season lightly with salt and pepper.
4. Bake 25 minutes, flipping halfway.
5. Combine brown sugar, pineapple juice, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in saucepan.
6. Simmer gently until sugar dissolves.
7. Mix cornstarch slurry if thicker glaze desired.
8. Whisk into sauce until glossy and sticky.
9. Toss baked wings in glaze and coat evenly.
10. Serve immediately with extra glaze on the side.
Notes
Add chili flakes or sriracha for spice.
Make glaze ahead for quicker prep.
Serve with jasmine rice or pineapple slaw.
