Description

Adorable no-bake fall candy acorns made from chocolate kisses, mini wafers, and baking chips. Perfect for parties or Thanksgiving!

Ingredients

Scale

11 ounces chocolate kisses any flavor you would like

75 mini vanilla wafers about half of an 11 ounce package

1 cup baking chips any flavor, divided

1 teaspoon coconut oil or cooking oil

Instructions

1. Unwrap as many kisses as you would like to make as candies. Set aside.

2. Remove cookies from the box, set aside as many unbroken whole cookies as you have kisses.

3. In a small bowl. Add 1/2 of the baking chips and the coconut oil.

4. Microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between cycles until chocolate is melted.

5. Using a toothpick or the thin end of a chopstick, add melted baking chips to the flat side of a cookie and attach the flat end of a kiss to the cookie.

6. Allow to cool until chocolate is set and kisses are not easily removed from the cookie.

7. Add melted chocolate to the opposite cookie side and attach an un-melted baking chip to form the stem.

8. Lay the candy acorn on its side and allow to cool completely.

Notes

Store in airtight container up to 7 days. Ideal for Thanksgiving, fall parties, or gifting.
