Soft, buttery, and irresistibly chewy chocolate chip cookies everyone will love.
Ingredients
2 ¼ cups flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
¾ cup butter (unsalted), partially melted
1 cup brown sugar, packed
½ cup sugar
1 Tablespoon vanilla
1 egg
1 egg yolk
2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 325℉ (165℃). Line cookie sheets with parchment.
2. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt together.
3. Cream butter, brown sugar, and sugar until blended.
4. Add vanilla, egg, and yolk; beat until creamy.
5. Stir in dry ingredients until combined.
6. Fold in chocolate chips gently.
7. Drop ¼ cup dough balls 3 inches apart.
8. Bake 10–14 minutes until edges are golden.
9. Cool before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
To keep cookies soft, store in airtight container with a slice of bread. Chill dough for thicker cookies.
