Description
A creamy churro cheesecake dessert layered with cinnamon sugar and flaky crescent dough, perfect for fall gatherings or easy Mexican-inspired baking.
Ingredients
Cinnamon sugar:
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
½ cup granulated sugar
Cheesecake bars:
Two 8-oz packages refrigerated crescent roll dough or sheets
16 oz full fat cream cheese, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
Optional toppings: whipped cream, caramel drizzle
Instructions
1. Combine cinnamon and sugar. Set aside.
2. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 pan and sprinkle 1–2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar in the bottom.
3. Unroll one tube of crescent rolls, seal seams, and place in pan.
4. Mix cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over dough.
5. Unroll second crescent roll sheet, place over filling.
6. Pour melted butter evenly on top, sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar.
7. Bake 26–30 minutes until golden. Cool completely, chill, and serve.
Notes
For extra flavor, drizzle with dulce de leche or serve with whipped cream. Chill for at least 2 hours for best texture.
