English Pea Salad

Description

A creamy, classic Southern English pea salad made with cheddar, bacon, and a tangy dressing. Perfect as a make-ahead holiday or potluck side dish.


Ingredients

Scale

¾ cup Mayonnaise

¼ cup Sour Cream

1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar

1 tablespoon Sugar

Salt & Black Pepper to taste

13–16 oz. Frozen Peas, thawed and drained

1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded

½ cup Red Onion, chopped

¼ cup Real Bacon Bits


Instructions

1. Thaw the peas in a colander under cold water or let them rest while prepping other ingredients.

2. In a large bowl, whisk mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.

3. Add peas, cheddar cheese, red onion, and bacon bits.

4. Stir well, cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

Best made ahead and chilled for at least 1 hour.

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
