Fried Pickle Dip

Description

Creamy Fried Pickle Dip with toasted panko, ranch seasoning and fresh herbs. The perfect easy party dip for any occasion.


Ingredients

1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

12 ounces whipped cream cheese

1 cup sour cream

1 cup dill pickle, finely chopped

3 tablespoons ranch seasoning

3 cloves garlic, freshly grated

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely snipped

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Kosher salt, to taste

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed


Instructions

1. Add panko to a dry skillet and heat on medium-low. Stir occasionally until golden brown. Remove from heat and cool. Reserve 1 tablespoon for garnish.

2. In a mixing bowl add cream cheese, sour cream, chopped pickles, ranch seasoning, garlic, dill, chives, onion powder, salt and pepper.

3. Squeeze in fresh lemon juice and stir well to combine.

4. Fold in toasted panko, reserving some for garnish.

5. Cover and chill for 2 hours or overnight.

6. Serve in a shallow bowl and garnish with reserved pickle, panko and fresh herbs.

Notes

Chill longer for deeper flavor.

Add garnish just before serving for best texture.

Serve with chips, pretzels or fresh vegetables.
