Description

Grilled Cheese Roll Ups are crispy, golden comfort food snacks with a gooey melted cheese center. Perfect for quick lunches, snacks, or tomato soup dipping.

Ingredients

Scale

8–10 slices soft white sandwich bread, crusts removed

8–10 slices melting cheese (cheddar, American, Monterey Jack, Colby Jack, or provolone)

4–5 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened or melted

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Pinch paprika (optional)

Small sprinkle dried Italian herbs (optional)

Instructions

1. Remove crusts from bread slices.

2. Flatten each slice thin using a rolling pin.

3. Place cheese along one edge, leaving a small border.

4. Roll tightly into a cylinder.

5. Brush or spread butter evenly on each roll.

6. Heat skillet over medium-low heat.

7. Cook seam-side down until golden, rotating to brown all sides evenly.

8. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Notes

Use fresh soft bread for best rolling results.

Do not overfill with cheese to prevent leakage.

Cook on moderate heat to allow cheese to melt fully.
