Description

Hawaiian Fruit Salad is a creamy tropical fruit salad made with canned fruit, marshmallows, sour cream, and orange gelatin. Perfect for potlucks and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale

1 30-oz can fruit cocktail in juice

1 20-oz can pineapple chunks in juice

1 8-oz can mandarin orange slices

1 10-oz bag mini marshmallows

1 24-oz container sour cream

1 box orange flavored gelatin

Instructions

1. Drain all canned fruit in a colander for up to four hours until very dry.

2. In a large bowl, stir sour cream and orange gelatin until fully combined.

3. Add drained fruit and mini marshmallows to the bowl.

4. Stir gently until evenly coated.

5. Chill for at least one hour, preferably four hours or overnight.

6. Stir before serving and serve chilled.

Notes

Drain fruit thoroughly to avoid watery texture.

Chilling longer improves flavor and thickness.

Store leftovers in refrigerator for up to three days.
