Description
Rich, gooey knock you naked bars layered with chocolate chips, buttery cookie dough, and smooth peanut butter caramel.
Ingredients
Bars
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter softened
¾ cup sugar
¾ cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs room temperature
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Caramel Sauce
5 ounces evaporated milk
1 bag 14 oz caramels
½ cup peanut butter
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9×13 inch pan.
2. Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
3. Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy.
4. Add eggs one at a time.
5. Gradually mix in flour mixture.
6. Fold in chocolate chips.
7. Spread half of dough in prepared pan and bake 8-10 minutes.
8. Melt caramels and evaporated milk; add peanut butter.
9. Spread caramel mixture over baked base.
10. Drop remaining dough by spoonfuls on top.
11. Bake 15-20 minutes until golden. Cool before serving.
Notes
Let bars cool fully before slicing for cleaner cuts.
Store at room temperature or refrigerate for firmer texture.
