Sweet, salty, and irresistibly crunchy — these Maple Caramel Bacon Crack Bites are the ultimate finger food appetizers for any occasion.
Ingredients
2 (15 count pkgs) frozen phyllo cups (30 total)
1 lb regular-cut bacon, cut in half cross-wise
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup maple syrup
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment and grease lightly.
2. Place phyllo cups onto baking sheet.
3. Fry bacon until nearly crisp but still chewy. Drain and chop finely.
4. Add 1/2 tsp brown sugar to each phyllo cup. Drizzle maple syrup on top.
5. Fill with chopped bacon and sprinkle more brown sugar.
6. Bake 12–15 minutes until bubbly and caramelized. Cool 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, use hickory-smoked bacon.
Add cayenne or crushed pecans for variation.
