Description
Meatball Bombs are garlic butter stuffed rolls filled with marinara, Italian meatballs, parmesan, and melted mozzarella. Perfect appetizer or party food.
Ingredients
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 teaspoons grated garlic
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
12 bakery-style dinner rolls
1½ cups marinara sauce
12 Italian-style meatballs, thawed
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
8 ounces whole milk mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and spray a 9×13 baking pan with olive oil spray.
2. Whisk melted butter, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
3. Place rolls in pan and cut a 1½-inch well into each roll.
4. Brush garlic butter inside wells and over tops.
5. Spoon marinara into each well.
6. Add one meatball to each roll and top with remaining sauce.
7. Sprinkle parmesan and mozzarella over rolls.
8. Bake 20–25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
9. Top with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Do not cut too deep into the rolls.
Thaw frozen meatballs before using.
Serve immediately for best texture.
