Description

Pear Dump Cake is a warm and cozy pear dessert made with fresh pears, cinnamon, and yellow cake mix for easy baking success.

Ingredients

Scale

4 cups sliced pears (peeled and cored, about 6 medium pears)

1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)

1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)

1/4 cup milk (optional)

Pinch of salt

Powdered sugar (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Toss pears with sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Let sit 10 minutes.

2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread pear mixture evenly.

3. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over pears without stirring.

4. Drizzle melted butter over cake mix. Add milk to dry spots if needed.

5. Bake 40-45 minutes until golden and bubbly. Cool 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use firm ripe pears for best texture.

Tent with foil if top browns too quickly.

Serve warm with ice cream if desired.
