Pizza Chili Dough Balls

Description

Crispy pizza dough stuffed with spicy chili and mozzarella cheese, brushed with garlic-cilantro oil, and baked until golden.


Ingredients

Scale

12 oz. Galbani® Mozzarella

3 cups leftover chili

1 store bought pizza dough

1 Tbsp. cilantro, freshly chopped

1 tsp. minced garlic

1 tsp. red pepper flakes

1/2 cup olive oil

sour cream, for dipping


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

2. In a small bowl add cilantro, garlic, red pepper flakes, and olive oil. Set aside.

3. On a floured surface, form dough into a ball and divide into 16ths.

4. Cut mozzarella into small chunks.

5. Flatten a piece of dough and add 1 Tbsp. chili and 5-6 chunks of cheese.

6. Fold edges over filling and form into a ball. Place on lined cookie sheet.

7. Repeat with remaining dough.

8. Brush with oil mixture.

9. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

10. Cool for 5 minutes and serve with sour cream.

Notes

Best served warm. Can be frozen and reheated in the oven.
