Description

A juicy, tender pulled beef sandwich slow-cooked to perfection with smoky spices and rich barbecue sauce.


Ingredients

34 lbs beef chuck roast

1 large onion, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1/2 cup barbecue sauce

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

68 sandwich buns

Optional: pickles, coleslaw, sliced onions


Instructions

1. Season beef with salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin.

2. Place onion and garlic in slow cooker; top with beef.

3. Add broth, sauce, Worcestershire, and sugar.

4. Cook on low 8-10 hrs or at 300°F for 4-5 hrs.

5. Shred beef and mix with juices.

6. Toast buns and assemble sandwiches.

Notes

For extra flavor, refrigerate shredded beef overnight in its sauce before reheating.
