Description
Soft and chewy small batch chocolate chip cookies perfect for two.
Ingredients
1/4 cup (60g) unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup (50g) light brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp (25g) granulated sugar
1 large egg yolk, room temperature
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup + 1 tbsp (70g) all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup (90g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and line a baking sheet.
2. Beat butter, brown sugar, and sugar until creamy.
3. Add egg yolk and vanilla; mix well.
4. Add flour, baking soda, and salt; mix just until combined.
5. Stir in chocolate chips.
6. Chill dough 10 minutes in freezer.
7. Scoop onto baking sheet and bake 10–12 minutes.
8. Cool on pan 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
Notes
Yields 8–10 cookies. Chill dough for thicker cookies.
