Sticky Honey Garlic Cauliflower is a crispy, sweet and savory vegetarian dinner made with roasted cauliflower tossed in a glossy honey garlic sauce.
Ingredients
1 large head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce or tamari
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
Pinch of red pepper flakes
Sesame seeds for garnish
Green onions, chopped for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Toss cauliflower florets with olive oil and spread in a single layer.
3. Roast for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway, until tender and lightly browned.
4. In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
5. Heat over medium, stirring constantly until the sauce simmers and thickens slightly.
6. Transfer roasted cauliflower to a large bowl.
7. Pour warm sauce over cauliflower and toss gently until evenly coated.
8. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions and serve immediately.
Notes
Use tamari for a gluten-free option.
Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet for crispier texture.
Adjust red pepper flakes for desired heat level.
