Description

A sweet and tangy Strawberry Rhubarb Cobbler with a buttery golden topping—perfect for a homemade summer dessert.


Ingredients

4 cups strawberries, stems removed and halved or quartered

2 cups fresh rhubarb, cut into small chunks

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup sugar

1 large egg

6 tablespoons butter


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. Add strawberries and rhubarb to a 9×9 baking dish and toss with lemon juice.

3. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and egg until crumbly.

4. Spread the mixture evenly over the fruit.

5. Slice butter thinly and distribute evenly on top.

6. Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.

7. Serve hot or cold, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
