Description

Stuffed Italian Meatloaf filled with mozzarella, marinara, and spinach for a hearty family dinner packed with savory flavor.


Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs ground beef

1/2 lb ground Italian sausage

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup bread crumbs

2 large eggs

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

2 tbsp Italian seasoning

1 tbsp parsley, chopped

1/2 cup milk

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 cup spinach, chopped (optional)

1/4 cup marinara sauce

1/2 cup marinara sauce (topping)

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated (topping)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. Combine ground beef, sausage, onion, garlic, bread crumbs, eggs, Parmesan, seasoning, parsley, milk, salt, and pepper.

3. Form mixture into a 9×12 inch rectangle on baking sheet.

4. Create a well and add mozzarella, spinach, and marinara.

5. Fold meat over filling and seal edges.

6. Spread marinara on top and sprinkle Parmesan.

7. Bake 45-55 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F.

8. Rest 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Seal edges well to prevent cheese leaks.

Let rest before slicing for clean cuts.

Store leftovers in refrigerator up to 4 days.
