Ingredients
1 pound sirloin steak (or flank steak), cut into bite-sized pieces
¼ cup soy sauce (low sodium recommended)
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated)
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
1. Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
2. Add steak pieces and marinate for 15 minutes.
3. Heat skillet over medium-high heat.
4. Sear steak 2–3 minutes per side until cooked through.
5. Transfer to plate, sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve warm.
Notes
For deeper flavor, marinate longer. Adjust spice level as preferred. Serve with rice or noodles.
