Description

Crispy, golden baked sweet potato fries seasoned with olive oil, garlic powder, and paprika. A healthy and irresistible oven-fried favorite.

Ingredients

Scale

2 medium sweet potatoes peeled (optional) and cut into fries

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika (smoked paprika optional)

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and place a baking sheet inside to heat.

2. Peel and slice sweet potatoes into ¼-inch thick fries.

3. Soak fries in cold water for 30 minutes, then drain and pat dry.

4. In a large bowl, toss fries with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

5. Spread in a single layer on the hot baking sheet.

6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For best crispiness, avoid overcrowding. Add a sprinkle of cornstarch before baking for crunchier fries. Try seasoning variations like Parmesan or cinnamon for unique twists.
