Description

Texas Trash Dip is a warm, cheesy appetizer made with refried beans, cream cheese, taco seasoning, and melted Monterey Jack and Cheddar.


Ingredients

16 ounces refried beans

4 ounces cream cheese

½ cup sour cream

½ packet taco seasoning

1 cup Monterey Jack cheese shredded

1 cup Cheddar cheese shredded


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. In a large bowl, mix beans, cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning until smooth.

3. Spread mixture in an 8 x 8 baking pan.

4. Top with Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese evenly.

5. Bake for 25–30 minutes until hot and bubbly.

Notes

Broil 1–2 minutes for golden top.

Serve immediately with tortilla chips.

Store leftovers refrigerated up to 3 days.
