Description

A creamy and healthy Tuna Pasta Salad made with shell noodles, Greek yogurt, and tender tuna. Perfect for family dinners or meal prep.


Ingredients

Scale

8 ounces small shells pasta

7 ounces canned albacore white tuna (drained)

2 ribs celery (chopped)

1/4 cup red onion (chopped)

1 cup frozen peas

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

dried dill weed (optional)

salt and black pepper (to taste)


Instructions

1. Cook pasta according to package directions.

2. Drain and let cool slightly.

3. In a bowl, combine onion, celery, peas, pasta, and tuna.

4. Mix mayo and Greek yogurt in a separate bowl.

5. Stir half the sauce into the pasta mixture.

6. Season with salt, pepper, and dill.

7. Refrigerate both salad and sauce for 30 minutes.

8. Stir in remaining sauce before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, use only Greek yogurt.

Add chopped pickles or olives for extra flavor.
